About the Role

This position involves much more than providing guests with a clean room and freshly made bed. The Hotel Cleanliness Expert is essential in crafting a memorable and distinctive guest experience by ensuring the hotel’s entire environment is spotless and welcoming. This person performs an array of housekeeping duties including attending to guest requests, maintaining supply carts, cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, and generally ensuring the hotel spaces contribute positively to the guests' overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

Essential functions include moving around the hotel comfortably and efficiently to address cleaning and guest service needs, stocking supplies, performing room and public area cleaning, and executing any additional reasonable duties assigned. Maintaining workplace safety, observing company policies, protecting guest and company confidentiality, preserving high quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style are vital components of the role.

Physical and Work Requirements

The role demands prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking and requires physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
