About the role
This position is part of the housekeeping and laundry function in a luxury hotel environment in Dubai. The role focuses on creating a welcoming, spotless, and memorable stay for guests by keeping rooms, public areas, and other hotel spaces clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
The job is a full-time, non-management position based in Palm West Beach, Palm Jumeirah Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is an on-site role and is not remote.
What you will do
You will handle a broad mix of housekeeping tasks to support the overall guest experience. This includes responding to guest requests, restocking housekeeping carts, cleaning guest rooms, and maintaining public areas and other shared spaces throughout the property.
You will also be expected to work proactively, move around the hotel as needed, and complete reasonable duties assigned to you so that the property consistently meets guest expectations.
Working standards
Success in this role depends on maintaining a safe workplace, following hotel policies and procedures, protecting confidential information, and keeping service quality high. A professional appearance, uniform standards, and clear communication are all essential.
The work is physically active and requires you to remain on your feet for long periods, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended stretches. The role also involves manual handling such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
