Location Details
Situated in the heart of Doha, Qatar, Four Seasons Hotel Doha offers a sophisticated urban beachfront retreat reflecting Qatari heritage. The hotel features 237 guest rooms along with 20 townhouses, ten distinguished dining venues including the largest Nobu restaurant globally, multiple swimming pools, a private beach, fitness center, and a spa with extensive hydrotherapy services. The property underwent significant renovation completed in 2019, reopening in 2020.

Role Overview
The Assistant Manager role is predominantly an overnight position responsible for managing the hotel's operations during night shifts. This leadership role ensures smooth overnight processes, superior guest experiences, and the safety and well-being of all guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage night operations efficiently, completing daily reports and night audits for all Front of House departments.
- Supervise overnight Front Office activities including guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and handling requests.
- Facilitate effective communication between nighttime and daytime teams to ensure operational continuity.
- Lead and monitor the overnight team while enforcing Four Seasons’ standards of service.
- Address guest issues, provide service recovery, and ensure VIP guests have exceptional experiences.
- Collaborate with Security and Engineering to uphold safety standards for guests and staff.
- Conduct routine inspections of public and operational areas to maintain luxury presentation standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies and unexpected incidents.
- Ensure accuracy in operational procedures and night reporting.
- Provide personalized, proactive guest service and support guest satisfaction initiatives with timely problem resolution.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere throughout the night shift.
- Utilize multiple computer systems for guest management, reporting, and room allocation.
- Implement a strong room upselling strategy to meet yearly goals and motivate the Front Office team.
- Promote a culture that rewards innovative thinking and exceptional team member performance.
- Adopt an enthusiastic and confident approach to guest services, embodying the Four Seasons values at all times.
- Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to ensure smooth operation and readiness for the following day.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- College degree preferred.
- At least three years of leadership experience within Rooms Division or Front Office in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and managerial capabilities.
- In-depth understanding of Front Office operations and night audit procedures.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and guest relations skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
- Fluent English communication skills, with Arabic an asset.
- Independent work capability and effective overnight operation management.
- Outgoing personality with a proactive and can-do approach.
