Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Southend, Scotland. This position offers an engaging and independent work environment where you will be the face of our company as you deliver shopping to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely following correct procedures, including manual handling and lifting heavy items.
• Drive responsibly and strictly adhere to road safety regulations.
• Perform van checks to ensure vehicle readiness before and during routes.
• Deliver food items ensuring they arrive in optimal condition to customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with tasks in store as needed.
• Work independently managing time and schedules efficiently.
• Available to work flexible shifts, with hours varying between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with a strong passion for customer service.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong awareness of road safety principles.
