Role overview
Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Barmouth, Wales. This is a full-time on-site role with an hourly pay rate of £13.71. The position is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while representing the company at the doorstep.
What the role is about
The purpose of the job is to deliver customers’ shopping safely and efficiently while serving as the direct point of contact for Iceland. You will be expected to provide a reliable, friendly, and professional service while ensuring groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
Key duties
- Follow correct van-loading processes, including safe manual handling and lifting.
- Drive with care and comply with all safe driving practices.
- Carry out routine van checks before and during use.
- Make sure food is delivered to customers in good condition.
- Deliver strong customer service throughout every drop-off.
- Assist in store whenever support is needed.
- Manage your workload independently and use time well.
- Work flexible shifts, with working patterns that may run between 6:00am and 11:00pm.
Candidate profile
Applicants should hold a full driving licence for at least 3 years and must not have more than 6 penalty points. The ideal person will be positive, approachable, customer-focused, punctual, able to meet deadlines, and aware of road safety requirements.
Pay and benefits
