What the job involves
- Loading the delivery van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual handling procedures.
- Driving responsibly at all times and following safe driving standards.
- Checking the van before and during use to make sure it is roadworthy and ready for deliveries.
- Making sure shopping reaches customers in excellent condition.
- Delivering a high level of customer service as the direct point of contact for shoppers.
- Supporting store operations when needed.
- Working on your own and organising your time effectively.
- Being flexible with shift timings, which may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
