Role overview
This opportunity is for a healthcare expert who will help assess AI-generated answers to complex medical questions. The work is fully remote and focuses on improving the quality, safety, and reasoning of AI systems used in clinical contexts.
The organization connects specialist talent with AI research teams and is headquartered in San Francisco.
Compensation and commitment
Pay is set at $150 per hour. The role is a contract engagement with an expected workload of 10 to 20 hours per week.
What you will do
- Review and compare AI responses to difficult medical scenarios in order to guide model reasoning.
- Inspect the model’s reasoning process using the materials provided and use that analysis to make judgments.
- Explain, in writing, why one response is stronger than another with emphasis on clinical correctness, patient safety, and overall medical reasoning quality.
- Share detailed written feedback with the research team so the model can be improved.
- Take part in onboarding and specialty calibration sessions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should hold an MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or another advanced clinical or biomedical qualification, or have equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of work experience in clinical practice, medical research, or a biomedical specialty is required.
- Applicants should be comfortable using current clinical guidelines and evidence-based medicine.
- Strong written communication skills and careful attention to detail are essential.
Start timing
The position begins immediately, and applications are considered on a rolling basis.
