About the Role
Xpress Health is seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to join their healthcare team in Limerick. This opportunity suits professionals wanting additional shifts or considering a career shift into healthcare support.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience within Irish healthcare is essential.
- Possess at least a QQI Level 5 certification or an equivalent qualification in Healthcare Support.
- Strong verbal communication is necessary for conveying sensitive information with clarity.
- Compassionate attitude aimed at enhancing patient wellbeing.
- Professional demeanor that is tactful and approachable.
- Competence in manual handling and people handling techniques.
- Infection prevention practices knowledge.
- Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Understanding of elder abuse prevention and safeguarding protocols.
- Awareness of Child Protection policies (Children First).
Work Details
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Limerick featuring flexible working hours with shifts typically spanning 12 hours including day, night, and weekend availability.
Compensation
The pay for this role ranges between €15 and €20 per hour.
