Job Overview
Dangote Cement Plc is searching for highly motivated experts to take charge of HR data integrity, HRIS management, data governance, reporting, and analytics throughout the organization. This position involves supporting the cleanup, standardization, and ongoing enhancement of employee master data in SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and associated HR platforms. The goal is to ensure management and HR stakeholders have access to accurate, reliable, and timely HR information.
Located in Lagos, Nigeria, this role provides support across all company sites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and support SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and related HR systems including employee records, positions, grades, organizational charts, workflows, and settings; coordinate prompt resolution of user and system issues with IT and vendors.
- Lead regular cleansing efforts of HR master data including employee, position, department, and payroll-related fields; create validation rules and reconciliation reports; maintain detailed audit trails for data adjustments and uploads.
- Produce both standardized and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics focusing on headcount, turnover rates, recruitment, grade distributions, employee movements, absenteeism, costs, and organizational patterns; facilitate one-click or self-service reporting while ensuring data security.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, or error-prone HR data and reporting tasks; support digital transformation initiatives related to recruitment, onboarding, employee transitions, learning, and performance management; document current and future HRIS workflows.
- Deliver initial-level HRIS user assistance; create user documentation, data entry guides, FAQs, and training materials; foster accountability for timely and precise data management among HR users.
- Ensure confidentiality and controlled access to personnel information; aid audit processes concerning HR data and system transactions; document HRIS procedures and escalate repeated data risks or control weaknesses.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, HR Analytics, Microsoft Power BI or other data analytics tools preferred; certifications like CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI are advantageous.
- A minimum of 15 years in HRIS management, HR operations, data governance, HR analytics, technology support, or digital transformation roles.
- Skills in SAP HCM/SF administration, HR master data governance, data cleansing, validation, migration support, reporting, dashboard development, advanced Excel, Power BI, and process automation; familiar with UAT and issue tracking.
- Pays strong attention to detail, excels in analytical problem-solving and diagnostics, maintains confidentiality, engages effectively with stakeholders, drives adherence to data standards across HR functions, and consistently meets deadlines.
