Key Responsibilities

• Perform small to mid-sized maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial projects, with job durations ranging from 2 hours to 2 days
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain necessary work and manage cost and scope expectations
• Deliver exceptional customer service to cultivate long-term repeat clients, following the standardized "Mr. Handyman Way" process
• Work independently, often alone, requiring self-management
• Handle payment collection from customers
• Utilize your own tools and proficiency with technology to document jobs accurately according to company processes
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and footwear covers to protect customers' homes

Job Requirements

• Residence within the local area
• Minimum of eight years of paid handyman experience
• Ownership of necessary tools
• Insurability to operate the company vehicle
• Successful completion of background and driving record checks
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Ability to safely work at heights and perform overhead tasks for prolonged periods
• Maintain professional appearance and upkeep of the company vehicle

Skills and Expertise

• Proficient in at least three of the following areas: carpentry, bathroom and kitchen improvements, interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, general plumbing and electrical work (as permitted by law), floor installation and restoration, and knowledge of building codes
