Role Overview
The Gujarati Language Alignment & Resource Partner role at PlanIt Kids offers a full-time, on-site position in Garhmukteshwar. The primary responsibility involves reviewing and harmonizing educational content in Gujarati to ensure it is accurate, culturally sensitive, and consistent with project guidelines. Daily activities include working closely with content creators to adapt materials into Gujarati, supporting language alignment for multiple media types, and providing constructive feedback on tone, style, and clarity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with content creators to adapt educational materials into Gujarati.
- Ensure linguistic and cultural accuracy of content aligned with project specifications.
- Support language consistency across diverse formats and platforms.
- Maintain documentation standards for Gujarati language use.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines and enhance language quality.
Requirements
- Fluent proficiency in Gujarati and English with experience in translation and language services.
- Strong interpretation skills for both spoken and written material.
- Excellent writing capabilities tailored for children and educational content.
- Experience with child-focused or educational content is preferred.
- High attention to detail, cultural awareness, and adherence to style guides.
- Ability to work on-site in Garhmukteshwar and cooperate across departments.
