Guest Transport Planner

Overview

The Guest Transport Planner is responsible for designing, overseeing, and optimizing transportation operations to ensure a premium guest experience. The role bridges strategic planning and daily operations by developing demand forecasts, managing capacity, and enforcing vendor compliance with service standards. This position requires proactive problem-solving to maintain smooth transport services, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and translate demand forecasts into effective transportation schedules and capacity plans.
• Analyze flight data, marketing insights, and historical trends to predict trip capacities and mitigate risks.
• Oversee daily operations, promptly addressing capacity shortfalls, delays, or disruptions.
• Manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements and initiate improvements when necessary.
• Monitor service quality indicators, including timeliness and responsiveness, and implement service enhancements.
• Maintain consistent delivery of an outstanding and seamless transportation experience for guests.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through regular meetings to manage relationships and operations.
• Anticipate potential risks and manage responses to operational disruptions or irregular situations.
• Generate and analyze operational reports to support data-driven decisions and ongoing improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to align service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• More than five years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operational planning, preferably with knowledge of the UAE geography.
• Hands-on experience in real-time operations control and vendor management.
• Exposure to aviation or mobility service sectors is an advantage.
• Understanding of both in-house and outsourced transportation management, including financial and operational logistics.
