About the Role and Location
Mantra on Sydney Airport is ideally situated just a short walk from the Sydney Domestic Terminal, with the international terminal just 4 km away and Sydney CBD a 30-minute taxi ride. The property features comfortable studio rooms and an on-site restaurant and bar offering an all-day menu. Nearby attractions include Maroubra Beach, Brighton Le Sands, and Westfield Eastgardens shopping center, all easily accessible by car.
Purpose
As a Guest Service Agent, you will serve as the welcoming face of the hotel, setting a positive tone for guests' entire visits. Your role involves supporting guests from check-in to check-out by delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring memorable experiences.
Primary Duties
- Provide exceptional hospitality, ensuring all guests feel valued and important from arrival through departure.
- Effectively communicate with guests and team members to facilitate smooth operations and collaboration.
- Resolve guest issues proficiently, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
- Promote hotel amenities and services with thorough knowledge of products and offerings.
- Share expert knowledge of local attractions and hotspots to enhance guests' stays.
- Efficiently manage reservations and maintain accurate guest accounts.
Skills and Experience Required
- Prior experience working at a hotel front desk is advantageous.
- Demonstrated creativity in exceeding customer service standards.
- Ability to collaborate well within a team as well as work independently.
- Strong multitasking capabilities and composure under pressure with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, overnight, weekends, and public holidays.
