Group Financial Controller

Opportunity Overview

SF Partners is collaborating with a dynamic, rapidly expanding international company to recruit a Group Financial Controller. This leadership role involves close collaboration with the CFO and playing an integral part in scaling the finance function efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing group financial reporting, month-end close activities, and consolidations across multiple entities.
• Preparation of reports for the board, investors, and lenders.
• Ensuring compliance with UK and international tax obligations, including UK and US jurisdictions.
• Overseeing cash flow forecasting, treasury functions, and working capital management.
• Coordinating audits, statutory reports, and maintaining robust financial controls.
• Building, developing, and leading a high-performing finance team.
• Collaborating with senior leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of ACA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience.
• Proven ability to manage financial operations in multi-entity and multi-currency settings.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP / FRS102 standards.
• Experience handling audits, financial reporting, and UK tax compliance requirements.
• A proactive and commercially aware mindset focused on process enhancement.
• Experience in SaaS, media, information services, or other high-growth sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
