Role Overview – Graduate Interior Designer
As a Graduate Interior Designer within Arcadis’ architecture and urbanism division, you will collaborate with a dynamic, award-winning team focused on advancing sustainable architectural solutions. Your projects may include innovative smart urban planning, as well as commercial, educational, healthcare, retail, mixed-use, and public sector environments, all with an emphasis on positive societal impact.
Your core responsibilities involve contributing to workplace transformation initiatives by designing adaptable, technology-driven interiors that promote wellbeing and productivity. You will assist in creating detailed interior design layouts, sketches, and 3D models, while keeping current with evolving workplace culture and technological trends. Preparing comprehensive presentations and reports for clients, maintaining communication with suppliers, contractors, and architects to meet design standards, and selecting design components such as furniture and finishes will also be integral to your role. Attendance at relevant industry events and exhibitions is expected when applicable.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (BA, BSc, MA, MSc) completed or graduating in 2025 with at least a 2:2 classification.
- Exemplary resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and ability to work effectively in teams.
- Strong communication skills coupled with the capacity to leverage technical expertise for stakeholder consultation and influence.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when necessary, with an openness to virtual working as supported.
