Role Summary

The Global Senior General Manager is a remote, full-time leadership position focused on directing the strategy, operations, and performance of several portfolio companies. The role is accountable for shaping growth plans, improving profitability, and maintaining sound governance and risk practices across multiple regions. It requires guiding executive teams, reviewing financial and operational performance, making data-backed decisions, and ensuring business initiatives stay aligned with the holding company’s long-term goals.

Key Duties

In this role, you will work with regional leaders, manage important stakeholder relationships, assess financial and operating reports, and help identify new investment opportunities. You will also support integration activities, promote ethical and compliant business conduct, and ensure that business units are performing in line with strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in general management, ideally gained in a holding company, private equity, or multinational corporate setting. Strong capability in strategic planning, business development, and portfolio oversight is important, along with a proven record of improving growth and profitability. The role also calls for solid financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L review, cash flow analysis, and monitoring operational KPIs. You should bring strong leadership skills for cross-functional and multicultural teams, plus excellent stakeholder handling, negotiation, communication, presentation, and decision-making abilities. Experience with corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance in international markets is also required. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is relevant, and an MBA or similar advanced qualification is considered an advantage. Experience working with the Middle East, especially Kuwaiti or GCC business environments, is a plus.
