Role Overview

As the Global Sales Director, you will hold full accountability for revenue generation and contribution margin across all international markets managed through third-party distributors. The portfolio includes a comprehensive range of clinical cancer diagnostic products such as reagents, automation for staining processes, and digital imaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee revenue goals, margin control, and long-term profitability within global distributor markets.
  • Lead and synchronize an international partner network to optimize market penetration, sales volume, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage and expand a distributor-oriented commercial framework split into two teams: one in Germany focusing on Reagents & Automation and another in Israel dedicated to Digital Imaging Solutions.
  • Guide the post-merger integration of the two vertical sales groups under unified leadership to promote collaborative solution-based selling.
  • Establish performance benchmarks, evaluate outcomes, and provide coaching to managers and teams to foster professional growth.
  • Formulate, uphold, and implement a three-year commercial strategy for distributor markets internationally aligned with a prioritized regulatory plan.
  • Design and deploy tactical sales initiatives tailored to specific regions and product categories aiming at expedited sales enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of eight years’ significant experience marketing clinical cancer diagnostic products.
  • Expert knowledge of complex international B2B sales frameworks and cultural variances.
  • Experience supporting partners in handling complex tender procedures.
  • Proven capability to manage and grow a sales profit and loss statement in distributor channels.
  • Competent in interpreting global market trends, regulatory environments, evolving business models, and competitive landscapes to develop strategic growth plans.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, margin structures, and international marketing strategies.
  • Experienced in leading diverse, multicultural international teams.
  • Driven to achieve results with ownership of key performance indicators, forecasting, margin management, and business case development.
  • Fluency in both English and German; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Prepared for frequent international travel of about one to two weeks per month.
