Global Recruitment Specialist

Overview

Firstsource is seeking a skilled professional to join its Global Recruitment team focused on US hiring. This role involves attracting and selecting candidates, managing the hiring process, ensuring compliance with US employment laws, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to define job roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn, social media channels, and professional networks to source top talent.
• Evaluate candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting phone and video interviews, and assessing cultural compatibility.
• Manage interview logistics, oversee candidate experience, and facilitate onboarding procedures.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with US employment regulations, including right-to-work verifications and data privacy requirements.
• Work closely with hiring managers to develop, clarify, and update job descriptions and candidate profiles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation capabilities to effectively engage candidates and hiring authorities.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple recruitment assignments and meet demanding deadlines.
• Familiarity with the BPO industry and understanding of US market employment trends.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is advantageous.

Typical Qualifications & Experience

• Prior involvement in US recruitment, human resources, or customer-facing positions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of US labor laws and initiatives promoting diversity and inclusion.
• Preference for candidates available to join immediately.
• Willingness to commit to a one-year contract.
