General Operative - Traffic Management

About the Role

Join our team as a General Operative specializing in traffic management based in Bonnybridge, West Lothian (FK4 2AQ). This role requires a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. Shift Patterns

• 12 consecutive working days followed by 2 days off, including the weekend.
• 6 consecutive working days followed by 1 day off.
• Part-time options available over 4 days, with shifts scheduled Sat-Tue or Thu-Sun.
• Additional vacancies for high-speed operatives involving night shifts requiring a Lantra 12AB qualification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of traffic management systems on highways and construction sites.
• Directing traffic safely around roadworks, events, and emergencies.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and clients to maintain smooth traffic flow.
• Supporting the company’s people-first culture and contributing to ongoing cultural development initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to the various shift patterns described above.
• A full UK driving licence held for over 10 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Resident within a 40-minute driving distance from the company depot.
• Valid traffic management certificates such as Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2 are advantageous but not mandatory.
