The General Manager holds the key responsibility of operating a profitable restaurant that upholds McDonald’s exacting standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role demands leadership to achieve and surpass restaurant goals in collaboration with higher management.
Key Responsibilities
The General Manager supervises a team of Department Managers who manage specific areas of the restaurant. Supporting these managers includes goal setting, monitoring progress, coaching, and providing strategic guidance to enhance departmental performance, thus improving overall restaurant operations. Additionally, the role involves recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to sustain an effective leadership team.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate must have prior experience as a General Manager, particularly in managing high-volume establishments. A background in quick service restaurants is highly preferred, though experience in hospitality or retail is also acceptable. The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
