General Manager

Position Overview

DSJ Global seeks an experienced General Manager to lead a major operational unit in the Orlando, Florida area within a rapidly expanding environmental services company. The successful candidate will have comprehensive ownership of operational results, team leadership, client satisfaction, safety adherence, and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and management for all operational facets, including staff oversight, service delivery standards, safety compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
• Manage recruitment, employee development, performance evaluation, and succession planning for a sizable operations workforce.
• Take full responsibility for profit and loss management encompassing budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and initiatives to boost profitability.
• Collaborate closely with commercial divisions to enhance customer retention and stimulate growth in the local market.
• Optimize routing, fleet deployment, and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency.
• Champion a robust safety culture ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with equivalent leadership experience also acceptable.
• Proven experience managing multi-site, fleet-centric operations within logistics, environmental services, transportation, industrial services, or related sectors.
• Successful track record overseeing P&L accountability and large operational teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making competencies.
• Capacity to enforce accountability, streamline processes, and cultivate high-performing teams.
