About the Role
This position is offered by an independent franchisee operating a McDonald's restaurant, which is a separate company from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's brand and products but handles all employment decisions independently.
The General Manager will oversee a high-volume restaurant, ensuring profitability and adherence to McDonald's standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This leadership role involves coordinating with Department Managers to set targets and achieve goals through effective coaching and management.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall restaurant operations to maintain profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with leadership to establish restaurant objectives and develop strategies to meet them.
- Lead and support Department Managers in setting and tracking their departmental goals.
- Provide guidance and coaching to enhance team performance across departments.
- Recruit, hire, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong management team.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants have previous experience as a General Manager managing fast-paced, high-volume quick service restaurants. Experience in hospitality or retail sectors is also valuable. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
