Gate Controller

Job Role Overview

The Gate Controller is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by enforcing company policies related to Health, Security, Safety, and Environment (HSSE). This role involves monitoring entry points, assisting individuals including those with special needs, and protecting company assets against theft, misuse, or damage.

Primary Responsibilities

• Implement and uphold all company regulations and HSSE policies.
• Provide help to individuals with special needs at entry gates.
• Work closely with management to ensure a safe and secure workplace via complete adherence to HSSE procedures.
• Protect company properties from damage, theft, or inappropriate use.
• Report any safety or security concerns immediately to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to all security protocols, complete required security documentation.
• Monitor building access and electronic surveillance systems to guarantee their effectiveness and premises security.
• Follow all directives issued by the HSSE management regarding security.
• Stay fully vigilant and present at the assigned post during duty hours.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, performing necessary actions as required.
• Communicate and coordinate safety concerns with the safety team to ensure compliance and report violations.
• Manage difficult or unusual situations with employees, contractors, or visitors calmly and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with plant management to address security exceptions and maintain a secure environment.
• Ensure the continuous application of the 5S organizational program within security guard houses without prior notice.
