Gardener

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to maintain and enhance the outdoor areas at our Sharjah location. This role involves caring for lawns, flower beds, and other landscaping features to ensure the property's appearance is inviting and well kept.

Main Duties

• Monitor and maintain property grounds to keep them aesthetically pleasing.
• Perform lawn care including mowing, edging, raking leaves, and other related tasks.
• Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes through watering, weed removal, and trimming.
• Clean and refuel all equipment after use to ensure proper working conditions.
• Remove and bag trash from all outdoor trash receptacles.
• Maintain features such as fountains, planters, and other landscape elements by cleaning, repairing, or replacing as needed.
• Repair and maintain sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, and parking lots by filling cracks and holes to ensure safety and appearance.
• Use tractors, trucks, and utility vehicles to transport necessary equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Perform snow removal and ice management when required.
• Follow all safety and security procedures, reporting any defective equipment, injuries, or unsafe situations to management promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality standards.
• Support team objectives by contributing teamwork and cooperation.
• Inspect tools and equipment routinely to detect defects.
• Handle physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders.
• Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is preferred.
• Less than one year of related experience is acceptable.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No licenses or certifications are mandated.
