Gameplay Data Capture Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Gameplay Data Capture Specialist to contribute to capturing detailed gameplay data from AAA video games. This contract position involves using proprietary tools to record, organize, and annotate gameplay sessions with high precision. You will work closely with a remote team to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all captured data is securely managed according to project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in playing various leading AAA games to systematically collect gameplay information using internal tools.
• Accurately record, organize, and add annotations to gaming sessions.
• Collaborate effectively with experts and team leaders, offering timely feedback and updates.
• Diagnose and resolve technical difficulties related to recording workflows.
• Ensure secure storage, proper cataloging, and timely transfer of all data files per project protocols.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication, both written and verbal, with the customer’s remote team.
• Adhere to project deadlines and remain adaptable to changing project needs.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated enthusiasm and experience with AAA games, with access to required titles.
• Strong gaming skills and ability to follow specific capture instructions meticulously.
• Excellent communication skills—clear, prompt, and detail-oriented in both writing and speech.
• Ownership of a high-performance gaming PC capable of running and recording the latest AAA games smoothly at high resolutions.
• Experience with gameplay recording or data capture software, industry or proprietary tools beneficial.
• Self-driven, reliable, and disciplined when working remotely.
• Good problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic or fast-changing situations.
• Mandatory: You must possess a high-end gaming PC meeting performance requirements.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Prior experience in gameplay quality assurance, playtesting, or related data capture roles.
• Familiarity with video editing or data annotation applications.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across various locations.
