Fund Accountant

Overview

Mason Alexander is collaborating with top investment managers and alternative asset firms expanding their finance teams in Dublin. We seek driven finance specialists experienced in fund accounting, administration, or alternative investments who aspire to advance their careers. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Net Asset Values (NAVs) and financial reports.
• Manage month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and investor communications.
• Collaborate with fund administrators, auditors, and custodians.
• Produce financial statements and support audit coordination.
• Oversee outsourced service providers.
• Assist with fund launches, new product introductions, and operational projects.
• Work closely with Investment, Operations, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations teams.
• Identify and implement enhancements in controls, reporting, and operational workflows.

Candidate Background

• Experience in fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting, or alternative investments including private equity, hedge funds, private credit, real estate funds, asset management, or investment management.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, either completed or in progress.
• Solid understanding of alternative investment structures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• A proactive mindset with keen interest in career growth within leading investment platforms.
