Jovie is looking for engaging, creative, and flexible nannies to join their on-call team supporting multiple families in Santa Monica, CA. This role is ideal for those who have prior experience as babysitters, daycare workers, nannies, or volunteers in childcare settings, including retired teachers seeking a smaller environment than a classroom. The position offers flexible hours that can fit around school, family obligations, or other part-time jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to children in homes without the responsibility of transporting them.
• Perform no household chores beyond simple clean-up of your activities or meal areas with the child.
• Support families with children ranging from infants to toddlers, with the greatest demand for those under 2 years old.
• Ensure the children's safety and lead hands-on activities that promote age-appropriate development based on your observations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with children is required, paid or volunteer, including mandatory experience with infants.
• Reliable transportation and the willingness to travel to different homes within the area.
• Availability to work at least three weekdays per week for shifts lasting 6 to 8 hours between 7 AM and 7 PM.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to supervisors, accompanied by a positive attitude toward families.
