Overview
Mindrift seeks an experienced Web Designer to contribute to the Tendem project by crafting refined and practical web designs suited for real-world applications. This role calls for expertise in UI and web design as well as visual communication skills to translate briefs into polished, brand-aligned, production-ready web layouts.

Role Details
This freelance, part-time position focuses on designing marketing assets such as landing pages and conversion-oriented one-pagers. The selected designer will take ownership of the brand's digital look and feel, guaranteeing consistency and professionalism across all web-based materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling one-page marketing sites and pitch-style landing pages guided by textual inputs or rough drafts.
- Convert brand elements and social media visuals into responsive web designs with clear structure and components, enabling easy implementation by developers or no-code tools.
- Organize Figma designs effectively, export necessary assets, and detail specifications for smooth handoff.
- Ensure visual uniformity across interactive web pages, print PDFs, and social content.
- Maintain high layout quality by rigorously checking responsiveness, proportional spacing, clarity, and modern web standards before delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in web/UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields is advantageous.
- The candidate must showcase a robust portfolio emphasizing landing pages, marketing websites, and startup/product one-pagers with strong typographic hierarchy.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt rough or AI-generated content into structured, implementation-ready web designs with a user-focused and conversion-centric approach.
Technical Expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Figma for scalable, responsive designs and component auto-layouts.
- Deep understanding of conversion-optimized layouts, including clarity, spacing, and current design trends.
- Knowledge of developer handoff processes, preparing digital assets for efficient integration in developer or no-code platforms like Webflow or Framer.
- Capability to ensure consistent brand representation across multiple platforms including web, social media, and PDFs.
Additional Expectations
- Strong attention to clarity, whitespace, and contemporary web layout aesthetics.
- Self-motivated work style with skills to troubleshoot and deliver production-grade assets promptly.
- Proficient English communication skills at the upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.
- Application submissions must include a portfolio link demonstrating relevant web design work; applications lacking portfolios or web design examples will not be considered.
Project & Compensation Details
Estimated commitment ranges between 10 to 20 hours weekly during active project stages, though workload is variable and not guaranteed. Compensation may be as high as $50 per hour, contingent on experience and contribution speed. Pay may differ by project scope and complexity across the Mindrift platform.
