Freelance Mid-Weight Graphic Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Weight Graphic Designer for a freelance contract based in London with hybrid working arrangements. This role offers a daily rate between £250 and £275 and falls inside IR35 regulations, with payment through an umbrella company. The position involves partnering with a leading online music platform focused on strengthening its creative projects and visual identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Create impactful visual content across digital, social media, marketing, and print channels.
• Assist in evolving and refining brand identity systems.
• Design compelling campaign materials and branded content assets.
• Produce polished layouts demonstrating strong typography and composition skills.
• Ensure all creative work aligns with established brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to implement ideas.
• Contribute innovative concepts and insights throughout the lifecycle of projects.

Experience and Skills Required

• Proven background as a Graphic, Brand, or Visual Designer with demonstrated branding experience.
• Expertise in typography, layout design, and visual storytelling.
• A well-crafted portfolio showcasing creative thinking and execution abilities.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experienced in designing for both digital platforms and print media.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a passion for visual quality.

Preferred Experience

• Background working in music, fashion, lifestyle, media, publishing, entertainment, or premium consumer brands is highly valued.
