About the Role
This part-time freelance graphic designer role involves contributing 10 to 15 hours weekly to the Brand & Creative Services segment of the Marketing team. Reporting to the Art Director, the freelancer will help produce marketing materials that reflect Mendocino Farms’ brand identity, promoting products and marketing campaigns effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Art Director on digital content creation.
- Customize content for various platforms including emails, social media posts, Google Display ads, and Meta ads, incorporating video and motion editing elements.
- Adapt and revise promotional creatives based on existing templates.
- Learn and use organizational systems to manage deliverable timelines and requirements.
- Ensure all designs comply with brand style guides, usability principles, and website standards.
Requirements
- Commitment of approximately 10 to 15 hours per week focused on project-based tasks.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in graphic design.
- Expertise in current Adobe Creative Suite tools, especially Photoshop and Illustrator, alongside video editing and animation skills.
- A compelling online portfolio showcasing digital media projects with high attention to detail and quality.
- Familiarity with print production and photo editing is advantageous.
- Experience in the food and beverage sector is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines.
- Open attitude towards constructive feedback and a constant drive for creative improvement.
Additional Information
This freelance position is a 1099 arrangement expected to last until the end of 2026, requiring 10 to 20 hours of work per week remotely.
