About Mindrift and the Role
Mindrift is seeking a talented Brand Designer to join the Tendem initiative remotely on a freelance basis. The role emphasizes crafting strong, cohesive brand identities and visual systems for real-world brands and products. Ideal candidates will have a proven background in brand strategy, visual identity design, and consistent brand asset development.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design foundational brand elements including logos, visual identities, and color schemes
- Systemically organize and deliver variations of brand assets
- Serve as the primary guardian ensuring brand consistency across all materials, such as pitch presentations and social media kits
- Build scalable and enduring visual systems aligned with contemporary design principles
- Guarantee high-quality design execution across digital and print platforms
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in brand or graphic design, art direction, or visual communications preferred
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or related creative discipline is advantageous
- Demonstrated strong portfolio focused on brand identity, logo creation, and comprehensive branding guidelines
- Expertise in foundational brand asset creation including logos, color palettes, and typography systems
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma
- Ability to adapt brand designs flawlessly for varied digital and print formats
- Experience in developing thorough brand guidelines and organized asset libraries
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail and long-term brand equity preservation
- Self-motivated, capable of independent troubleshooting and producing top-tier assets
- Proficient in English at upper-intermediate level or higher
- Portfolio featuring brand design work must be submitted
Additional Project Details
The expected workload during active phases is approximately 10 to 20 hours weekly, though this fluctuates with project demands and is not guaranteed.
Compensation
Compensation can reach up to $50 per hour based on expertise, pace, and contribution level. Payment rates may vary for other projects within the platform depending on their specific needs and complexity.
