About Qubed
Qubed is an education company based in Dublin, focused on secondary school students. Its team of in-person tutors provide weekly tuition sessions, complemented by the upcoming launch of the qubed+ platform this autumn. This new platform will offer personalised and human-crafted learning resources and exercises, ensuring tailored support for each student. Initially targeting the Irish secondary education market, Qubed has plans to expand into the UK by 2027.
Role Overview
The core task is to produce high-quality, stylish, and engaging 4 to 8-minute educational videos. The role also includes creating lesson highlights and social media content to promote Qubed and engage its audience. Initially, the successful candidate will independently manage the company's social channels; as the team expands, a social media specialist will take over this responsibility, allowing focus solely on video creation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to film captivating and concise lesson videos with a premium, polished aesthetic.
- Produce investor-facing video content to support the current fundraising campaign.
- Create and upload content for social media channels to generate interest and demand.
Engagement Details
The engagement commences with a 4-week contract paid at €250 weekly. The first assignment involves designing and filming a one-minute video intended for investors. Following this, the videographer will develop an initial collection of concise, high-value educational videos for the platform. There may be a brief pause after this initial period until further funding and infrastructure are secured. A longer-term Founding Videographer position, potentially including equity, will be offered thereafter.
Additional Information
- Interviews are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, 22nd and 23rd July.
- An immediate start is preferred.
