About the Company
Sunlight Sports Studio LLP is a fast-moving sports equipment retail and marketing firm. The company supports creative strategy and marketing for leading sports labels such as Li-Ning and Hundred in India, working across digital campaigns, content production, and retail activations that showcase sports products in engaging ways.
Role Overview
The Footwear Designer will focus on creating performance-driven sports shoe concepts, turning research and ideas into commercially viable products, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring each design from sketch to finished product.
Key Responsibilities
- Study footwear market trends, competitor products, and emerging materials to keep design direction current.
- Develop fresh, functional sports shoe concepts and produce seasonal design sketches.
- Convert design ideas into product-ready concepts for review and approval by management and stakeholders.
- Carry out fittings and make accurate technical refinements to improve comfort, ergonomics, performance, and visual appeal.
- Work with product development, marketing, production, and sourcing teams to ensure the design plan is aligned and executed efficiently within time and budget.
- Partner with suppliers and manufacturers to explore materials and moulds that shape the final aesthetics and construction of the footwear.
Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have at least 1 year of relevant experience. The role is best suited to candidates with 1–2 years of background in performance apparel or footwear design, especially those who understand footwear construction.
Education Requirement
A bachelor's degree in fashion design, apparel design, footwear design, or a related discipline is required.
Salary & Deadline
The compensation offered is INR 4,00,000 to INR 10,00,000 per year. The application deadline is 2026-08-02 23:59:59.
