Overview
We are hiring a Food Service Supervisor for a full-time, on-site position in Cornwall, Ontario. The role is based in a fast-food outlet or concession and is carried out entirely at the physical workplace with no remote option.
Language Requirement
English is required for this position.
Education
A secondary school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
Applicants should bring 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Work Setting
This role is in a fast-food outlet or concession environment.
Key Duties
You will oversee food preparation and portioning staff, make ingredient and supply estimates for meal production, and help ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met. You will also keep records related to inventory, maintenance, sales, and wastage, prepare reports, and organize staff schedules.
Team Supervision
The position involves supervising a team of 3 to 4 people.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
This job is suited to a fast-moving environment and requires a mix of sitting, standing, and walking. Extended periods on your feet and frequent walking are part of the role.
