Role overview
TRIO Community Meals is seeking a dependable Food Packer to join the Saraland, Alabama team. This is a hands-on, onsite position in a fast-moving environment where you will support meal service operations, build practical skills, and work with a varied customer base each day.
Key duties
Your main focus will be preparing, packing, serving, and distributing food. The role may also involve moving between different parts of the department, including the tray line, dish room, cafeteria, and storeroom, depending on operational needs.
Responsibilities may change over time and additional tasks can be assigned by management when required.
Qualifications
The employer is looking for someone with strong people skills, a customer-service mindset, good attention to detail, and solid communication and organizational abilities. Previous experience in food service or food packing is preferred, but it is not mandatory.
Compensation
The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
