Role Overview
As a Food Expediter, your key responsibility is to ensure the flawless coordination and presentation of guests' meals between the kitchen and dining areas. This position demands attentiveness and swift action to guarantee every dish is impeccably prepared, visually appealing, and delivered promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the crucial communication link between kitchen personnel and dining room staff in a fast-paced and demanding setting.
- Accurately receive and relay orders to the kitchen according to ticket details and verify that all plates meet quality and completeness standards before they reach guests.
- Maintain a spotless and orderly workstation adhering strictly to cleanliness and sanitation standards set by regulatory authorities.
Success Criteria
- Preferably possess a minimum of one year of experience in the restaurant industry.
- Exhibit enthusiasm, a cooperative attitude, and readiness to support fellow staff members as a committed team player.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with managers, colleagues, and guests.
- Maintain a flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, brunch shifts, and holidays.
- Capable of standing or walking for long durations with occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
