POWERTECH excels in propulsion technologies, focusing on design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion, turbojet, and turbofan engines for aerospace, defense, and autonomous platforms such as UAVs.

Role Purpose

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for managing the company’s vehicle fleet and the driver workforce, including logistics and administrative drivers. The role ensures fleet operations are safe, compliant, and cost-effective, handling daily scheduling, vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling and dispatch of logistics drivers for pickups, transfers, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate administrative drivers for personnel and executive transport needs across sites.
  • Maintain comprehensive driver rosters and shift handovers.
  • Keep an updated fleet register with vehicle details, assigned drivers, mileage, and service histories.
  • Organize preventive maintenance and repairs in liaison with approved service providers.
  • Monitor and approve fuel expenses per vehicle, identifying unusual consumption.
  • Track and report all fleet operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and depreciation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE road transport laws and internal health, safety, and environment policies.
  • Develop and improve fleet management policies continuously.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, including licenses, certificates, maintenance records, and incident reports.
  • Prepare and maintain structured daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering fleet status, driver performance, and exceptions.
  • Provide weekly summaries to the Logistics Manager and compile monthly KPI-linked audit-ready reports.

Experience and Education

  • A minimum of 4 to 5 years in fleet coordination, transportation management, or logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with UAE traffic and transport regulations and vehicle compliance standards.
  • Experience using fleet management technologies such as GPS tracking and fuel card systems is advantageous.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of UAE transport and vehicle compliance regulations.
  • Expertise in coordinating driver schedules and managing transport resources.
  • Proven ability to control costs related to fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships including garages, insurance providers, and telematics suppliers.
