Job Overview

The Finance & Business Planning Manager role is a strategic position focused on enhancing our finance operations. Unlike traditional accounting roles, this position entails comprehensive responsibilities including financial planning, business analysis, cash flow management, reporting, tax coordination, and supporting commercial decisions. You will collaborate directly with the founder and various departments to provide visibility into profitability, cash management, channel performance, and sustainable growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts across UAE and KSA, covering sales, collections, payments, inventory, payroll, marketing, rent, logistics, taxes, and operational costs.
• Track financial metrics such as receivables, payables, inventory investment, and cash flow stress points to support leadership decisions on expenditures and stock purchases.
• Enhance finance processes and accuracy of reporting using Zoho and related systems by cleaning and reviewing financial records, classifications, reconciliations, and ensuring reliable bank and management reports.
• Coordinate with accountants to maintain timely and accurate entry of financial data.
• Prepare detailed monthly management reports on revenues, margins, expenses, cash flow, and channel profitability, including variance analysis and highlighting business risks and opportunities.
• Analyze profitability across all sales channels and SKUs to identify valuable customers and products, alongside areas requiring improvement.
• Support sales and operations teams in forecasting sales and managing inventory, while translating forecasts into financial impacts.
• Collaborate with marketing to evaluate advertising spend efficiency through metrics such as CAC, MER, and ROAS across campaigns and channels.
• Coordinate VAT, corporate tax, and compliance with external advisors ensuring adherence to regulatory deadlines and documentation.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities for recurring reports and dashboards, leveraging tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Zoho, Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or AI solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA are advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance roles, preferably within consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce sectors.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, working capital management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Experience managing finances in multi-channel consumer businesses including DTC e-commerce, B2B wholesale, and marketplace platforms.
• Proficient in financial software like Zoho, Xero, or NetSuite and skilled in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for cross-functional partnership with sales, supply chain, and external stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work hands-on while thinking strategically in a fast-paced growth environment.
