Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Controller (m/f/d) to join our Munich team on a permanent contract basis. The role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity of our operations and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. The position encompasses a wide range of financial tasks essential for decision-making and overall company financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to monthly and annual financial statements preparation according to HGB and IFRS standards.
- Report financial outcomes to the headquarters in England.
- Develop forecasts, liquidity planning, and conduct annual budget preparation.
- Compile analysis reports to assess profitability by customers, products, and sales.
- Advance the product contribution margin accounting.
- Analyze sorting, packaging processes, and inventory management.
- Evaluate returnable packaging processes and implement improvement measures.
- Prepare import-related reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience or solid understanding of IFRS and German business transactions.
- Degree in business administration or equivalent qualification focusing on controlling and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial management practices such as planning, forecasting, KPI analysis, and cash flow management.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work independently with precision.
- Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Fluent German language skills at minimum C1/C2 level.
