Financial Analyst (Accounting Expert) – Remote, Part-Time

This opening is for a fully remote, contract-based Accounting Expert to support critical financial deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop well-defined evaluation rubrics for real-world accounting tasks, such as reconciliations, close processes, and the preparation of financial statements.
• Objectively assess both human- and AI-generated accounting work using the established criteria, and provide thorough written explanations for all ratings assigned.
• Utilize a methodical and consistent approach to scoring, ensuring all assessments are defensible and repeatable.
• Quickly adapt your work based on structured input received from senior reviewers, participating in iterative feedback cycles.
• Operate autonomously in an asynchronously collaborative team to strengthen AI capabilities in accounting and finance tasks.

Role Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in accounting, preferably within leading global firms or in senior roles for large public organizations.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or an equivalent professional qualification is highly favored.
• Expert-level proficiency in US GAAP, month-end closing activities, account reconciliation, the drafting of financial statements, and preparing records for audit purposes.
• Outstanding written communication and the ability to document judgments in a precise, defensible manner.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a comfort with peer-based review processes.
• Experience with AI evaluation or data labeling projects is advantageous.
