Financial Accountant

About the Role

Barden is pleased to collaborate with a well-established and expanding software company located in South Dublin to find a Financial Accountant. This position offers a unique chance to fully manage financial reporting responsibilities for two Irish subsidiaries during an exciting growth phase.

• Manage month-end closing activities including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and management reporting across two Irish entities
• Lead statutory reporting and handle preparation of annual financial statements
• Serve as the main liaison for external auditors, overseeing the entire audit process
• Be responsible for tax compliance activities such as corporation tax, VAT submissions, and other required Irish statutory filings

About You

• Certified accountant with qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent
• At least 1 year of practical industry experience
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong communication skills, capable of confidently interacting with both internal teams and external parties
• Eager to learn, ambitious, and seeking a stable, long-term career opportunity within a global organization
