Overview
The Bureau of Meteorology is inviting a dedicated and proactive Finance Officer to become an integral member of their finance team in Brisbane, Queensland. This role involves delivering financial and administrative assistance to a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Working within the Finance Operations team, you will provide client-centered support across multiple areas including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing Card management, and Travel Finance processes. This position requires adaptability and a readiness to embrace ongoing changes as the bureau advances its finance operations towards enhanced practices.
Scope and Environment
This opportunity offers a chance to oversee financial resource management within a Commonwealth governmental context. Experience or familiarity with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 is valued. Proficiency in SAP, SAP Concur, and the Microsoft Office Suite is highly advantageous.
