Finance Executive

Overview

Join The Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) as a Finance Executive to contribute to life-saving bone marrow transplants. This role offers collaboration with diverse stakeholders and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team committed to hope and impactful healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage donor search and procurement services aligned with transplant centres.
• Adhere to Search and Transplant Services policy ensuring professional standards meet WMDA accreditation.
• Serve as the primary contact for designated transplant centres in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Prioritize and process donor and cord blood search requests within agreed timelines.
• Provide validated donor recommendations for local and Malaysian patients.
• Ensure accurate and timely data collection and operational analysis.
• Process Verification Typing (VT) and Work Up (WU) requests coordinating with transplant centres and international registries.
• Coordinate HPC product transportation logistics with courier services locally and internationally.
• Remain continuously contactable for emergencies as per WMDA requirements.
• Educate Singaporean and SPR patients and transplant center partners on subsidy schemes and process applications accordingly.
• Advocate for patients and families throughout the transplant process.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas transplant centres and registries.
• Ensure excellence in search, selection, and procurement supporting transplant teams.
• Comply with data protection policies such as PDPA.

Technical Knowledge & Qualifications

• Solid understanding of medical terminology and immunology.
• Familiarity with human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing is an advantage.
• Comfort with IT systems and data management tools.
• Experience in hospital operations, transplant coordination, or haematology departments is preferred but not mandatory.

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Biology, Bioscience, Nursing, Biomedical sciences or related fields.
• Diploma holders require at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Degree holders are welcome to apply even as fresh graduates.
