About the Role
Join PwC Singapore's Finance Data & Systems (FDS) team to contribute to transforming finance through data, automation, and AI. Work within the Finance Department to support the systems and data infrastructure that empower PwC's finance operations. This internship offers hands-on experience with finance systems, data analytics, and innovative technologies, fostering growth in a tech-driven finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily tasks within Finance systems to ensure smooth operation of core processes.
- Perform thorough data quality checks and maintain accuracy across finance-related systems.
- Develop statistical reports and dashboards that aid informed business decision-making.
- Support finance transformation projects by creating policies, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
- Participate in automation projects aimed at elevating finance workflows.
- Leverage AI and emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and reporting.
- Engage with experienced mentors within PwC to enhance learning and professional development.
Candidate Profile
- Students specializing in Finance, Data Science, or Business Analytics from local or international universities preferred.
- Candidates from related areas like Accountancy, Information Systems, Computer Science, and Mathematics with strong interest in finance and data are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Alteryx is an advantage.
- Familiarity with modern AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and prompt engineering skills, is beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially working with data sets.
- Self-driven individuals eager to take responsibility for their growth and learning in the finance profession.
- Highly motivated, confident, creative, and possessing a growth mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical concepts into clear business benefits.
