Role Overview
Join our Automobile industry finance team in Dubai as a Finance and Controlling Associate. This role plays a critical role in driving business advancement through expert financial management and innovative financial solutions. Programme Details
This position is part of the Group's AcceleratiON Programme, composed of four assignments designed to build a strong foundation for future leadership roles within the company’s Middle East representative office. Rotations include two roles within local Middle East offices focusing on Controlling and Sales Planning, plus two short assignments at Group Headquarters in Europe and another international market.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage actively as a member of the Finance and Controlling Team, contributing new ideas and supporting financial steering, performance analysis, digitalization efforts, and process enhancements.
- Organize and drive projects with a systematic approach by liaising with relevant stakeholders, understanding business necessities, and converting data into understandable insights.
- Help ensure prompt and quality completion of Finance and Controlling activities in collaboration with other teams and central units.
- Participate in transformation and ongoing process improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and decision-making strength.
- Manage additional finance-related responsibilities and conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bring 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Planning, or Consulting.
- Have at least 4 months of international exposure through study, internships, employment, exchange programs, or similar opportunities.
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.
- Be a cooperative team member confident in working across various functions and global markets.
- Demonstrate robust analytical and financial reporting capabilities, with ease translating data into actionable business insights.
- Show a project management approach, capable of handling multiple initiatives, meeting deadlines, and working methodically with stakeholders.
- Have advanced digital literacy including Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial IT systems, AI, data visualization, and automation tools is beneficial.
- Be fluent in both English and Arabic, orally and in writing.
- Display enthusiasm and readiness for an international career trajectory.
