About the Role
This full-time Field Sales Executive position is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, reporting to the Sales Manager or Proprietor at D and M Business Consultancy. The role focuses on cultivating new business prospects, nurturing client relationships with builders, contractors, architects, dealers, and industrial clients, and meeting monthly sales objectives. Extensive fieldwork, client meetings, product demonstrations, quotation processing, and market expansion are key aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the designated territory.
- Conduct daily visits to builders, contractors, civil engineers, architects, infrastructure firms, and dealers.
- Market and promote construction materials such as paver blocks, RCC pipes, kerb stones, manhole covers, and related offerings.
- Generate inquiries and successfully convert them into confirmed orders.
- Collaborate with the office team to prepare and submit quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial conditions with customers.
- Maintain robust relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Perform regular market surveys to assess competitors, pricing strategies, and identify new projects.
- Meet monthly revenue, new client acquisition, and collection targets.
- Work with dispatch and operations teams to guarantee punctual deliveries.
- Address customer complaints promptly and provide efficient after-sales service.
- Ensure timely collection of payments within agreed credit terms.
- Maintain daily visit reports, sales pipeline status, and CRM updates.
- Participate in exhibitions, promotions, and customer engagement events.

Educational Background
A graduate degree in any discipline is required; degrees or diplomas in Marketing or Civil Engineering are advantageous.
Experience Requirements
Between one to five years of field sales experience is necessary. Preference is given to candidates with backgrounds in construction materials, building products, cement, pipes, tiles, hardware, sanitaryware, steel, or infrastructure sectors.

Compensation and Benefits
- Fixed salary as determined by company policy ranging between 20,000 to 40,000 INR monthly.
