About Quest Global
Quest Global is a leading engineering organization with a 25-year legacy of solving complex engineering challenges. Headquartered in Singapore with operations in 17 countries and driven by over 17,800 employees, Quest Global delivers comprehensive engineering solutions across industries such as aerospace & defense, automotive, energy, hi-tech, med-tech & healthcare, rail, semiconductor, and communications. Their multidisciplinary approach combines technology and expertise to address critical and large-scale problems.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Possess relevant technical qualifications (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) or sufficient experience to handle stress engineering tasks.
- Apply strong expertise in airframe static stress using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and hand calculation methods.
- Conduct fatigue calculations including hand computations, DFEM, ISAMI, and GFEM load redistribution techniques.
- Evaluate stress equivalent (Seq) values related to fatigue and crack propagation by analyzing mission profiles, performing rainflow counting, Miner's rule application, and utilizing stress files, FESPS databases, and spectra generation.
- Determine stress concentration factors (Kt) using Peterson’s method, DFEM, or ISAMI modules.
- Interpret engineering drawings to identify fastener parameters such as diameter, fit, specification, type, and surface treatment relevant for fatigue calculations.
- Work with various ISAMI modules including Metallic Filled Hole, Composite Filled Hole, Lug analysis, Corin Analysis, Notch Sensitivity, Damage Tolerance, Tension Fitting, Fatigue Spectrum Analysis (1D & 2D), and Fatigue DFEM Initiation modules.
- Develop, implement, and verify technical solutions and compliance documentation to ensure conformity with customer, regulatory, and airworthiness standards within program schedules and manufacturing constraints.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of airframe fatigue substantiation, covering safe life and fracture mechanics methodologies.
Eligibility
This position is open to any graduate meeting the experience and qualification criteria.
