About the Role
Join St. Regis Hotels & Resorts as an F&B Service Expert and contribute to creating unique and memorable guest experiences. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service beyond just food and beverages, ensuring every guest interaction is part of an outstanding dining journey. You will be responsible for various aspects of service, from table setting and kitchen communication to guest interaction and maintaining a clean work environment. Your dedication will ensure guests feel valued and that their dining experience is seamless and enjoyable.
Responsibilities
- Set tables and prepare dining areas for service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
- Engage with guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and supplies.
- Ensure all guest transactions are handled efficiently and contribute to a positive experience.
- Uphold company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communication style.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Less than one year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Capability to navigate varied surfaces, including slopes and potentially slippery areas.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting menus and information.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs (11.4 kg) independently, and up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) with assistance.
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions.
- Execute all assigned tasks to a high standard.
