Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Factory Hand based in Tullamarine, Victoria, to contribute to various production tasks and ensure quality in metal fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the packing and loading of customer orders for dispatch
• Unload deliveries from trucks efficiently
• Operate forklifts safely and effectively (forklift license required)
• Carry out assembly work and assist with folding and fabrication duties
• Remove parts accurately from laser-cut metal sheets and machines
• Perform finishing operations such as grinding, sanding, and linishing on metal components
• Execute tapping, nutserting, and studding of parts
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the production area
• Perform any additional tasks as delegated by the Production Supervisor

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Possession of a valid Australian forklift license is essential
• Strong personal work ethic and dependability
• Attention to detail to uphold quality standards
• Physically fit and capable of manual labor
• Effective hand-eye coordination skills
• Awareness of workplace safety and ability to thrive in busy environments
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Experience using hand and power tools
