Responsibilities

The Expeditor serves as the critical link between the kitchen and guests, ensuring that orders are timely, accurate, and meet Nando's quality standards. They handle preparation and packaging of take-out orders and engage warmly with customers to deliver a remarkable dining experience. Expeditors must work efficiently, stay organized, and maintain professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team
• Capability to perform under pressure calmly and efficiently
• Dedication to quality service alongside basic food and beverage knowledge
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and handling standards
• Proficiency in basic English and professional communication skills

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 15 pounds independently over extended periods
• Stand, walk, climb stairs, and carry food or dishes up to 8-10 hours per shift
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical agility involving bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting overhead
• Ability to climb stairs in multi-level restaurant settings
